My name is Ryan Wickstrand. I am a graphic designer and illustrator living in Connecticut.

I attended the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University. There I dabbled in every art form that exists, but my focus has always been in the digital arts. My major was computer graphics and I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001.

Since college I've primarily been working on a freelance basis. In fact, I've been doing business as "BrainStorm Designs" since 1997. I've come a long way since those early days, but the entire process has been a great learning experience - both in terms of art and business.

One of my favorite aspects of working freelance is that it allows me to be involved with such a a wide variety of careers and themes. I've created designs for everyone from film makers to clothing designers. From bikers to gardeners. You name it.

In between client work, I like to keep my creative mind sharp with my own side projects. My personal sites and small business endeavors keep me from getting rusty. All of this can be viewed in my portfolio. Head over there next.
